First deviation, whoo hoo!
The Beast is my all time favorite Disney character- scratch that- CHARACTER EVER! Glen Keane did an amazing job and I actually got to meet him! (Glen Keane is the supervising animator for the Beast, in case you're like 'huh'?) We talked for a short while about animation. In fact it was because of Glen Keane's Beast, I wanted to draw in the first place. As a child I'd try so hard to draw him until one day I finally did. I guess you can say Glen Keane taught me how to draw and the Beast inspired me to try. Glen this is for you!!!!
It is my first digital painting and I used a mouse which was so annoying but hey, it got the job done. It's a mixture of traditional and digital art. It was originally a pencil sketch.

*+ The film will return to the big screen in 3D next year to celebrate its anniversary!
(I got to see about 45 minutes of it in 3D at the D23 Expo last year in 2009 and the quality is really good. No headaches or sore eyes.)
